The organization is focused on connecting the most innovative individuals and companies, as well as spreading ideas and innovation in the e-commerce industry.

IECIA’s mission is to promote a culture of innovation and growth in global e-commerce. In doing so, the organization hopes to raise awareness, acknowledge excellence and encourage breakthroughs in the existing e-commerce industry.

In light of the exponential growth and development of e-commerce in China, IECIA is aware of the importance of China’s market in participating in the global e-commerce dialogue. Therefore, the organization currently has establishment in Beijing, China and New York, U.S.A to develop its international community.

IECIA aims to grow its organization into a platform that drives and facilitates conversation and innovation in the e-commerce industry, where international experts and leaders are brought onboard to exchange ideas and present a series of initiatives, including content, panels and workshops to discuss the current and future state of the industry. Upcoming initiatives also include IECIA funded scholarship and mentorship opportunities for those looking to excel in the field of e-commerce.

With a committee of members on board, including Alan Rutherford, who has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the ten most influential figures in media globally, as well as strong affiliations with a series of companies in both China and the United States, IECIA affirms that it has the potential to become a leading global organization in the world of e-commerce.
