On October 31, 2026, the press conference for the 12th ECI International Digital Innovation Festival was successfully held in Guangzhou, officially launching the global call for innovation submissions. Scheduled for January 15–20, 2027, the festival will take place across four key Greater Bay‑Area cities: Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and Shenzhen, with comprehensively upgraded service systems for the global innovation industry.
Under the theme "Make Innovation Happen, Make Value Global", ECI breaks the boundaries of conventional award events. It builds a seven‑part closed‑loop system covering evaluation, think‑tank research, education, industry collaboration, capital connection, industrial parks and global market expansion.
Adopting a four‑dimensional evaluation framework focusing on innovation, effectiveness, implementability and market viability, the festival prioritizes proven, commercially‑viable innovation achievements.
At the press conference, ECI forged the Greater Bay‑Area Innovation Community strategic partnership with four provincial‑level associations. The cooperation aims to build a full‑chain industrial ecosystem covering brand upgrading, smart manufacturing, digital trade and capital empowerment.
